FAQ

How much Hemp Extract should I take?

Legally we aren't allowed to give dosage recommendations. However, we suggest you check out Project CBD.org for guidelines.

Are your products third party tested?

All of the Hemp oil used in our products is third party tested for content, pesticides, and heavy metals.

How is the hemp grown?

All of our Hemp is grown by either ourselves or by another local farm we work with. It's all grown with organic practices with no pesticide or herbicide usage. Non-GMO

What's the difference between hemp seed oil and hemp extract/CBD oil?

Hemp seed oil is made from pressed hemp seeds, it is a great source for healthy fats and other vitamins. However, hemp seed oil only contains trace amounts of CBD.

We label our products as Hemp Extract which causes some confusion, but they are in fact a CBD oil. This is why we provide labs on all of products to show the CBD content.

Legality of Hemp?

The legality of Cannabidiol from hemp is based on a 2004 unanimous ruling by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, this determined that the DEA “cannot regulate naturally-occurring THC not contained within or derived from marijuana, i.e. - non-psychoactive hemp is not included in Schedule I. The DEA has no authority to regulate drugs that are not scheduled..”

When will my order ship?

We aim to get orders out quickly. Any order placed before 11am Monday thru Friday will go out that day. Due to post office hours and our own schedule, any orders placed on Friday after 11am may not go out till the following Monday. This may change in the future, but we currently work events most Saturdays which prevents us from getting to the post office.

Will I pass a drug test?

Our products contain less than 0.3% THC. We are unable to legally state whether or not one of our customers will pass a drug test for any of our products. If this is a concern, we recommend doing further research at ProjectCBD.org, before making any decision to consume CBD Products.

Below is a excerpt from an article discussing CBD and drug testing.

Fortunately, the urine drug screen for THC-COOH is known to have very little cross-reactivity to other cannabinoids that are not intoxicating, such as CBD (cannabidiol), CBG (cannabigerol), CBN (cannabinol), and others. This is good news for “normal” consumers of CBD/hemp oil.

That said, individuals using unusually large doses of a cannabinoid-rich hemp oil product (above 1000-2000 mg of hemp oil daily) could theoretically test positive during the initial urinary screen. Although very rare, the urine screen in these cases would likely represent a “false positive” due to other non-THC metabolites or compounds, which may cross-react with the immunoassay. When this is the case, the confirmatory GC/MS test would be negative, since CBD and other cannabinoids will not be detected by the more accurate (and specific) GC/MS screen."
